Great food, and diverse exhibitors, both eastern and western philosophy from Nutrition to therapy dogs, heart health and blood pressure checks to singing bowl sound baths and drum circles. Learn about herbology, take a wellness walk through town and fill your bag with free goodies from our local businesses, join the guided hike up L Mountain, enjoy a talk about and a spin around, Lava’s own labyrinth. Finish the day with a soak and stretch in the hot pools!

Meet and Greet your fellow wellness enthusiast, speakers and vendors on Night One of Spring Into Wellness Festival!
5:30 PM – 6:30 PM: MIX & MINGLE
Kick off the fun with our social hour mix and mingle, wine and food share with a social hour mix and mingle, wine and food share with small bites of meats, cheeses, veggies and breads, with wine and beverages.
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: GLOWGA
Glow in the dark body paint is provided so have a giggle with your friends helping paint each other up. Once you are suitably ‘glowed up’ the all levels yoga class begins in an almost dark studio, except for UV black lights and the glow of the other yoginis in the room. Bring your mat and your playful energy!
8:00 PM: DRUM CIRCLE
After class, we will resume the snacking and you will have the pleasure of joining in with an authentic drum circle!

Presenter: Michelle Linder of Linder Wellness
Vibrational Sound Therapy. Sound healing helps manage and relieve stress, improve quality of sleep, feel better physically, realign personal energy, release trauma and/or expand spiritually or energetically.
10:30 AM – 11:15 AM: Gyrokenesis (Group Activity)
Presenter: Lori Head – Owner of Mind Your Body
Lori is a retired Idaho State University professor. She currently owns and manages “Mind Your Body” health studio in Pocatello, Idaho. Lori holds certifications and teaches Yoga, Pilates, Gyrokenesis and is a Feldenkrais practitioner. She also teaches water therapy and figure skating. Lori will focus her presentation on Gyrokenesis and teach a very playful technique of movement centered around all directions of arching/contracting/twisting and lateral bending of the spine. Her class addresses flexibility and rhythm plus right and left brain work.
Gyrokenesis methods can be adapted to all ages and levels of ability. It is designed to open energy pathways and stimulate the nervous system by coordinating movement, breath and mental focus. Learn more about Gyrokinesis.
11:30 AM – 12:00 PM: HEALING WATERS OF LAVA HOT SPRINGS
Presenter: George Katsilometes
Owner for 33 Years of the Lava Hot Springs Inn & Spa. Higher education degrees: A.B.-Zoology, University of California, Berkeley, CA; D.V.M., Washington State University, Pullman, WA; Ph.D.-Endocrinology, University of California, Davis, CA.
Mr. Katsilometes has had the waters arising on the properties of the Lava Hot Springs Inn & Spa analyzed and has documented the beneficial effects of each of the major minerals contained in these waters. He has stated the mineral water of Lava is some of the finest in the world and is so pure it can be consumed without treatment as it flows from the earth.
12:15 PM – 1:00 PM: THE HEALING GIFT OF TOUCH
Presenter: Brenda Hatfield LMT BCTMB
Brenda loves her life work as a massage therapist. She is highly intuitive, gifted, and experienced. She has a toolbox full of modalities and healing techniques. Her grounding and centered soul assists to restore balance within her clients and spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical well-being. Brenda graduated in 2007 from Healing Mountain Massage School in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 2017 she was drawn to the magical healing waters and the vortex of healing energy of Lava Hot Springs. The Native American Indians know of these magical places. This is a place of peace and healing.
2:15 PM – 3:00 PM: TRAUMA RECOVERY YOGA
Presenter: Joyce Bosen
Humanitarian, and co-founder of Trauma Recovery, found peace and healing after the traumatic death of her son in 2012. As she found her way to healing, she created the TRY yoga method. And in 2016 Joyce, and her husband Darwin, founded the internationally known Trauma Recovery Yoga Method where they help train others in the method that helped her escape the relentless symptoms of PTSD. Joyce is a motivational and inspirational TEDx speaker “Turning Loss Into Blessings,” and author. Enjoy her inspiring story, learn about the science behind her method and enjoy an interactive all levels chair TRY class. Walk away with tools for a lifetime to help calm the anxiety and find presence. No trauma or Yoga experience required!
3:15 PM – 4:30 PM: ENERGY HEALING
Presenter: Midge Woods
A discussion of products being promoted to help elevate levels of health, wellness and vitality. Midge is a Spiritual Entrepreneur and Marketing Director for LIFEWAVE Stem Cell Activation Technology.
She has traveled extensively as a speaker, presenter and vendor at Energy Healing Conferences in Idaho, Utah and Arizona for over 30 years. Midge has traveled internationally to attend educational and spiritual conferences. In addition to being a presenter for LIFEWAVE, she will lead the group through the ancient practice of walking the labyrinth for spiritual centering and quieting the mind.
